The FINANCIAL — Since the start of the current MY, and as of September 7, Ukraine exported nearly 6.88 mln tonnes of grains which is 1 mn tonnnes lower compared with the same date last season (7.8 mln tonnes), reported the phytosanitary security and seed farming control department at the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP).
In particular, by the reporting date Ukraine supplied more than 3.7 mln tonnes of wheat (including 2.2 mln tonnes of food wheat and over 1.5 mln tonnes of feed wheat), 1.6 mln tones of barley and more than 1.3 mln tonnes of corn.
Moreover, according to SSUFSCP data in July-August Ukraine shipped nearly 1.2 mln tonnes of oilseeds (compared with 1 mln tonnes at the same period last season), including 1.1 mln tonnes of rapeseed (0.9 mln tonnes) and 0.05 mln tonnes of soybeans (0.1 mln tonnes).
